Tour Plan

01 Dublin - Belfast

Depart Dublin and make your first stop at Monasterboice, an ancient monastic settlement established in 501 AD. This site features Ireland's finest and best-preserved Celtic crosses, alongside a fully intact Round Tower. Next, discover why Lonely Planet ranks Belfast among the top 10 'must-see' destinations worldwide. Begin your Belfast experience at the Titanic Experience (entry included), where you’ll embark on a captivating journey through the story of the Titanic—starting from her conception in early 1900s Belfast to her tragic maiden voyage and sinking. We also recommend the world-famous Black Taxi Tour (EUR 20.00 / GBP 15.00) for a closer look at the city's highlights, including City Hall, Queen's University, Albert's Clock, and the Botanic Gardens. Overnight in Belfast.

02 Belfast - Giant’s Causeway - Dunluce Castle - Dark Hedges - Derry

Prepare for a glorious day exploring the North Coast. First, visit the Dark Hedges, known from Game of Thrones. Next, experience the wonders of the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring approximately 60,000 hexagonal basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. Your guide will share tales of the giant hero Fionn McCool, who supposedly created the causeway to confront the Scots. Afterward, enjoy a visit to the ruins of Dunluce Castle (entrance included), where you'll spend about an hour exploring. The day concludes in Derry, where a local guide will take you on a walking tour of the famous Bogside district, the site of the Bloody Sunday massacre in 1972 and the inspiration for U2's iconic song 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday.' Overnight in Derry, where you can enjoy the vibrant local pub and music scene, with Peadar O'Donnels highly recommended.

03 Derry - Wild Atlantic Way - Strandhill - Galway

After breakfast, depart Derry for a scenic drive along a section of the Wild Atlantic Way, where breathtaking Irish landscapes await. We'll stop for lunch in the coastal town of Strandhill, known for its stunning beaches and vibrant surfing scene (think Huntington Beach with a drizzle). Here, enjoy a stroll and lunch at The Strand Bar. This afternoon, arrive in Galway and embark on a walking tour or take two hours to explore at your leisure. Perhaps savor a pint of Guinness paired with fresh oysters (in season) at a local pub like The King's Head or The Quay's Pub. Overnight in Galway, soaking up the bohemian atmosphere. On warm summer evenings, you might stroll out to Salthill along Galway Bay to enjoy ice cream or fish and chips from the seaside vendors.

04 Galway - Burren - Doolin - Cliffs of Moher - Dingle

With the wild Atlantic Ocean beside you, cruise down the West Coast, taking in the stunning scenery. Explore the lunar landscape of the Burren, a unique area where Alpine, Arctic, and Mediterranean flowers grow side by side. Listen as your guide shares inspiring tales of how our ancestors endured the Great Potato Famine of 1845-49, which led over a million Irish people to emigrate worldwide, particularly to Britain, North America, and Australia. Stop for lunch in the village of Doolin and perhaps enjoy a pint before heading to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. Towering over 700 ft, the cliffs are among the most spectacular in Europe, home to majestic seabirds, including puffins and gannets. After crossing the River Shannon in historic Limerick, we’ll visit the charming heritage town of Adare, known for its picturesque thatched cottages and frequently voted as Ireland’s tidiest town. Tonight, we’ll stay on the scenic Dingle Peninsula.

05 Dingle - Killarney

Today, embark on an adventure through the renowned Dingle Peninsula. First, visit Inch, Ireland's longest beach, before heading to the charming fishing village of Dingle, known for its vibrant Gaelic culture. This delightful town is famous for its 52 pubs, each serving a population of about 2,000. Don't miss the chance to meet Fungi the Dolphin, Dingle’s most famous resident, during your early afternoon visit. Next, enjoy a scenic drive around Slea Head, where you can marvel at stunning views of Sleeping Giant Island, the Blasket Islands, and ancient Beehive Huts dating back to 2000 B.C. Recognized as one of the most beautiful peninsulas in the world, Slea Head boasts some of Ireland's most stunning beaches, forming a highlight of the Wild Atlantic Way. As the area is primarily Gaelic-speaking, you may even hear locals conversing in this ancient language. Return to Dingle, where you’ll have time for shopping in traditional arts and crafts stores and refreshments in one of the many lively pubs with local musicians playing enchanting tunes. Tonight, we’ll stay in Killarney, Co. Kerry's premier town, where you can mingle with locals and experience the charm of a genuine Irish county town. Relax by the fire or take a leisurely post-dinner stroll in nearby Killarney National Park.

06 Killarney - Dublin

The day begins with an optional horse and cart ride through Killarney National Park or a horseback ride for the adventurous. After regrouping, we’ll cross the Cork and Kerry mountains to visit the world-famous Blarney Castle. Enjoy ample time (2 hours) to explore the castle and kiss the Blarney Stone to receive the legendary gift of eloquence. The beautiful gardens offer a tranquil setting for relaxation, while those seeking last-minute souvenirs can visit the Blarney Woolen Mills, the largest Irish shop in the world. After lunch, we’ll take a leisurely drive through the Golden Vale, renowned for its exceptional agricultural land and livestock. Before arriving back in Dublin, we’ll pause at the Rock of Dunamase, a ruined castle perched on a hill, providing breathtaking photo opportunities. Arrive back in Dublin in the late afternoon, just in time for dinner reservations and evening entertainment.
