Upon arrival in Auckland, you will be met by a private transfer to your hotel. After settling in, embark on a guided tour of the city. Visit the iconic Sky Tower, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city, harbor, and surrounding islands from the observation deck. Explore the vibrant Viaduct Harbour, known for its bustling waterfront restaurants, and take a leisurely stroll through Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park. After breakfast, head south to the Hobbiton Movie Set, a must-visit for any fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. After your magical journey through Middle Earth, continue on to Rotorua, New Zealand’s geothermal hub. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into your hotel. Today, immerse yourself in the geothermal and cultural highlights of Rotorua. Begin with a visit to Te Puia, home to the famous Pohutu Geyser, which erupts daily, shooting boiling water up to 30 meters into the air. Walk through the bubbling mud pools, steaming vents, and hot springs that define the landscape. You’ll also visit the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, where traditional Maori artisans demonstrate carving and weaving. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of a Maori village, where you will learn about Maori traditions, mythology, and history. The day concludes with a chance to witness a haka performance, the traditional Maori war dance, before returning to your hotel.
On your final day, you’ll return to Auckland after breakfast.
