In the afternoon, we'll stop at Gretna Green, famous for being the UK's most iconic wedding destination and home to the historic Iron Forgeries. This is a great opportunity to purchase traditional shortbread, which your tour manager can arrange at a reasonable price. Please note that only continental and English food is available here, and there are no fast-food outlets on-site, so plan accordingly.
After lunch, we continue our journey north, arriving in Glasgow by early evening. We'll head straight to the majestic Glasgow Cathedral, one of Scotland’s finest medieval structures and the only one on the mainland to survive the Reformation intact.

You may choose to take an optional boat cruise to soak in the picturesque views of the Scottish Highlands while enjoying a warm beverage. For those who prefer to stay ashore, take in the stunning vistas from the shoreline of this famous freshwater loch.
We then continue our scenic drive toward Fort William, where we visit the Nevis Range. Weather permitting, take a cable car ride up Aonach Mòr, offering breathtaking views from its 1,345-meter peak.
On the return journey, we'll stop at the Commando Memorial, a tribute to the British Commando Forces of WWII, and visit the remarkable Neptune’s Staircase, a series of eight locks that raise boats 19 meters over a quarter-mile stretch on the Caledonian Canal.
In the evening, we'll enjoy another delightful Indian meal before returning to the hotel. (B, D)
After breakfast, we head to Edinburgh, Scotland's hilly capital, known for its rich history and stunning architecture.
On the way, we pause for a photo stop at the impressive Falkirk Wheel, the world’s only rotating boat lift, before continuing to The Kelpies, towering 30-meter-high horse-head sculptures that pay homage to Scotland’s industrial past.
Upon arrival in Edinburgh, visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotland’s crown jewels and offering stunning views of the city. Then, stroll down the Royal Mile to explore St. Giles’ Cathedral and its distinctive crown-shaped spire.
We conclude our day with views of the Forth Road Bridge, providing an excellent vantage point to admire the famous Forth Rail Bridge. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner before heading back to your hotel in Glasgow. (B, L, D)
