01 Lake District – Windermere – Glasgow

This morning, we journey through the scenic landscapes of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, a region celebrated for its abundant lakes and breathtaking natural beauty. Designated a World Heritage Site, the Lake District offers an enchanting mix of lush woodlands and stunning vistas.

Our first stop is Windermere, a charming town nestled amidst the national park and home to England's largest natural lake. You'll have free time to explore this picturesque town, known for its serene beauty and vibrant local culture.

After lunch, we continue towards the dynamic city of Glasgow. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy an exterior view of Glasgow Cathedral, an impressive structure steeped in Scotland’s history. Though we won’t enter, the cathedral’s striking architecture is a highlight. We then delve deeper into Glasgow’s cultural and historical treasures before settling in for the night, ready for the next day's adventures.

02 Glasgow – Loch Lomond – Fort William – Scottish Distillery – Loch Ness

Today, we set off to discover the beauty of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, home to the famous Loch Lomond. Here, you’ll have the option to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the loch, taking in the peaceful Highland scenery with a cup of tea or coffee in hand.

Next, we drive to Fort William and ascend the stunning Nevis Range by cable car (weather permitting) for panoramic views of the surrounding Highlands.

We’ll also visit a traditional Scottish Whisky Distillery, where you'll learn about the whisky-making process and enjoy a tasting.

Throughout the day, we’ll make stops at the Commando Memorial, honoring British commandos of WWII, and Neptune’s Staircase, an engineering marvel of eight canal locks. The day concludes with stunning views of Loch Ness, renowned for its mysterious Nessie sightings and captivating scenery.

03 Isle of Skye / Inverness

After breakfast, we embark on a journey to the Isle of Skye, Scotland’s largest island. Known for its rugged landscapes, this natural wonder offers dramatic cliffs, lochs, and valleys. We’ll begin with a scenic drive through the Highlands, making our way to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle for some free time to enjoy the views.

We then cross the Skye Bridge to explore the island's east coast, with its stunning views of the Red Cuillin Mountains. Our next stop is Portree, the island’s capital, where you'll have time to explore this charming town.

Continuing on, we’ll visit the Trotternish Peninsula, home to natural wonders like the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock, offering unforgettable sights before returning to Inverness, where you'll have free time to enjoy the evening.

04 Cairngorms National Park – Loch Morlich – Edinburgh Castle – Forth Road

Today, we travel through Cairngorms National Park, the UK’s largest national park. We’ll stop at the picturesque Loch Morlich, a serene spot known for its sandy beaches and snow-capped mountains.

Our journey continues to Stirling, where you'll have free time to explore this historic town, dominated by the impressive Stirling Castle.

Next, we head to Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, where you'll visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle, home to the Crown Jewels of Scotland. As we descend along the Royal Mile, you’ll see St Giles' Cathedral and other notable landmarks, before concluding the day with a view of the stunning Forth Road Bridge.

05 Falkirk – Kelpies – Return to London

After breakfast, we visit the Falkirk Wheel, a unique rotating boat lift connecting two historic canals. The final highlight of our tour is a visit to The Kelpies, towering 30-meter-high horse-head sculptures that celebrate Scotland's industrial heritage.

Following this, we board the coach for our return journey to London, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences of our Scottish adventure.
