Your first stop is the intriguing Glengowla Silver Mine, where you can explore the historic underground show mines and view displays of traditional farming techniques, including sheepdog demonstrations above ground.
Continuing towards Galway, your route showcases iconic Irish scenery, passing through the stunning Ma'am Valley and Rossaveal, where boats set sail for the Aran Islands across Galway Bay, before heading to Spiddle.
Arriving in Galway by mid-afternoon, you can take part in an optional walking tour or enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. This leg of the tour takes you back through Connemara and into County Mayo and County Sligo.
Around lunchtime, you’ll stop in the coastal town of Strandhill, known as one of Ireland's premier surfing destinations. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlantic waves and the stunning beach. We recommend The Strand Bar for a delicious lunch and perhaps a local pint or drink.
Refreshed and ready, the tour will proceed to Derry/Londonderry in Northern Ireland.
Once there, embark on a walking tour of Derry's historic city walls, where you’ll learn about the significant events of the 1689 siege and the tragic Bloody Sunday of 1972.
Overnight in Derry for the next two nights. The locals here are some of the friendliest in Ireland, and there’s a fantastic array of restaurants and pubs to explore. Don’t miss Peadar O'Donnell's famous music bar in the old town—it’s a must-visit!
